With the introduction of ever-tighter regulations for the conservation of fuel and power, House Builders and Architects are being forced to look at solar water heating which is set to be the norm rather than the exception for new build housing.
House builders have not always recognised the advantages of renewable energy for the new build market and solar water heaters in the UK have predominately been retro-fit to existing roofs. Similarly many Architects, whilst understanding the benefits of solar water heating, are hesitant to include it due to the visual impact of some panels even when integrated. In order to address these issues we have introduced our new integrated flashing kit.

The advanced ‘Atlas Solar’® panels shown has been modified to allow direct access for the flow and return pipes through the back of the panel, reducing the roof area required as well as improving aesthetics. The new integrated kit, designed for ease of installation and visual appeal, is available with either a grey or terracotta front skirt in self-adhesive corrugated aluminium. The terracotta finish significantly reduces the visual impact of panels on tiled roofs, whilst the grey is perfect for slate roofs. Architects are impressed!
